# CaptureKit Pricing

CaptureKit is a Screenshot API for developers. Pricing is usage-based:
you pay for credits, and 1 credit equals 1 successful API request
(screenshot, content extraction, or AI analysis). Failed requests do
not count toward your quota. Cached requests are served from the edge
and do not consume credits.

Prices below show the annual (billed yearly) monthly rate and the
month-to-month rate. Annual billing saves 10%. All paid plans can add
pay-as-you-go credit packs that never expire.

## Plans

All public plans in one table. The Starter plan is monthly only.
Higher volume and procurement needs are covered by a Custom /
Enterprise plan.

## Extra credits

Pay-as-you-go credit packs are available as an add-on on any paid
plan. Packs never expire. The Free plan cannot buy extra credits.

If you go over your monthly quota, the API keeps working and extra

### How much does CaptureKit cost?

The Free plan is $0 and includes 100 credits. Paid plans start at
$7/month (Starter, 1,000 credits). Pro is $29/month or $26.10/month
billed annually (10,000 credits). Ultimate is $89/month or $80.10/month
billed annually (50,000 credits). Custom / Enterprise is priced on
request.

### Is CaptureKit free to start?

Yes. The Free plan includes 100 credits and does not require a credit
card. [Sign up](https://app.capturekit.dev/register) to get an API key.

### What is a credit?

1 credit equals 1 successful API request: a screenshot, a content
extraction, or an AI analysis. Failed requests do not count. Cached
requests do not count.

### Can I try the API before paying?

Yes. You get 100 free credits on signup. If the API fits your use
case, upgrade to Starter, Pro, or Ultimate from the dashboard.

### Is there a discount for annual billing?

Yes. Annual billing saves 10%. Starter is monthly only. Pro is
$26.10/month ($313.20/year). Ultimate is $80.10/month ($961.20/year).

### What happens if I go over my quota?

The API keeps working. Extra requests are billed at your plan's
extra-credit rate. You can also buy credit packs that never expire,
once you are on a paid plan.

### Can I buy credits on a pay-as-you-go basis?

Yes, on paid plans. Packs start at 1,000 credits for $9 and never
expire. Extra credits are not available on the Free plan.

### Is there a Custom or Enterprise plan?

Yes. Custom / Enterprise is priced on request for higher volume, SLA,

### What level of support can I expect?

We usually reply within 24 hours on chat. Pro and Ultimate include
priority support. Feature requests are welcome.
